BI Solutions Architect @ Fusion Retail Brands

WILD-IT has a long standing relationship with Fusion Retail Brands to provide systems support and monitoring for the SQL Server environment. Additional development is done on an as-required basis. WILD-IT provides fast turnaround on development work and takes pride in ensuring issues are fixed as a priority ensuring minimal disruption to day to day business.

BI Solutions Development @ Catholic Education

WILD-IT has a long standing relationship with Catholic Education to provide BI development skills on an as-needed basis. This currently equates to 1 day per week to reduce pressure on internal staff. Tasks assigned vary weekly from SSIS development, tabular cube development, or updates to the SSRS dashboard reports.

Data Mart and Tableau Rollout @ QLeave

Initially this was a one month engagement to produce a data mart using SSIS tools. The project was completed in a significantly shorter time frame and WILD-IT was asked to stay on to assist with the rollout of Tableau front end reporting software and subsequent mentoring of users. This has turned into a long term relationship on an as-needed basis.

Maple Lake Data Integration @ PAS

PAS required an ETL tool to handle daily data extracts between an Oracle ERP system and a SQL Server planning system. The project involved liaising with the internal staff and external vendors to understand requirements of the new software and how to extract the data from the existing systems. This project was significantly easier thanks to a solid background in the retail sector.

Reporting Data Warehouse @ Dept of Communities, Child Safety & Disability Services

Working from a well defined specification the brief was to build a series of ETL scripts using T-SQL that conformed to strict standards already in place within the department. Following on from this a series of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports were developed. Some investigative work required as data links between systems were not fully defined.

BI Solutions Development @ WOW Sight & Sound

WILD-IT was engaged by WOW Sight & Sound to maintain and extend upon the existing OLAP cubes and reporting solution, as well as handle day to day data loading and reporting issues.

World Wide Sales Data Warehouse @ Cook Medical APAC

Prior to the establishment of WILD-IT, I was involved in a large scale data warehouse project for a global organisation in which I played a part in the overall design of the system and architecture, as well as developing the data load scrips for each of the subsidiaries in the APAC region. Following this I became a change agent championing the rollout of the Business Objects reporting solution, providing documentation and training across the Asia Pacific.
